Where the Rail Trail crosses Omakau’s Racecourse Road, take a left if coming from Chatto Creek; or a right coming from Lauder.

Just 300 metes up the road, you’ll know you’ve arrived as you head up the driveway to Church Hill B & B, the substantial 1930’s priests’ presbytery situated alongside the cathedral-like St Peter’s Catholic Church. Church Hill B & B retains much of its original 1930's character while still providing a comfortable bed and breakfast for up to six guests. As befitting this hilltop location, the views, well, they’re simply heavenly and for a small donation, guest's can take a tour St Peter's Church.

Church Hill B & B guests have their own well-appointed lounge and dining area at the front of the house. The lounge features original moulded ceiling, and a large open fire for those cooler nights. There is also a TV, DVD, stereo, tea and coffee facilities, and comfortable furnishings. Outdoor areas are available for relaxing in the Central Otago sunshine.

Evening meals are an easy stroll to Omakau's Commercial Hotel or Muddy Creek Café. Courtesy transport is available to historic Ophir and Blacks Hotel. Adam keeps on hand a quality selection of Otago wines for guest’s purchase and enjoyment.

Grazing available at no extra charge for horse trekkers staying at Church Hill B & B.
